princessbee1991:  I think your ring is beautiful, ignore everyone else, it’s only your and your fiancé feelings that count.

I’ve only had close friends ask carat weight on mine. DHs sisters asked to look at it/try it on right after we were engaged and I definitely didnt mind that. I like to scope out pawn shops on occasion and I had a worker ask me to take my ring off to show him…Uh no, that did not happen! lol

AubreyMarie:  I’ve had 2, 4, and 5 asked to me. With acception of #5, I don’t particularly think they’re rude questions, just genuine curiosity. Only one person asked me to try it on and I let them because of the close friendship. But a random stranger or acquaintance, I’d tell them no while giving them my “you’re crazy” look.

The very first day I got to work after being engaged and was telling my whole story etc. My director asked to see the ring and when I showed her she literally took her finger  and tapped 3 times right on the top of the diamond….okay WTF! I dont know about you ladies…but it brand new and I was in the dont let it hit anything..dont touch it and smudge the sparkle stage..my natural reaction was to pull away and she’s like what why can’t I tap it…cause that’s a freaking ridiculous thing to do?!?!

She said meh its going to get smudged over time anyway (yes true but do I really want the smudge to start today mt first day ever wearing it to work?) God so inconsiderate.
