Hmm yes maybe she for some reason put padded ones on me – I could ask for smaller ones next fitting
I think I’m going to look into that!
I love that dress! Reminds me a bit of mine, with the short sleeves
I don’t understand exactly how it works but I’m going to look into those. Although I feel like I would completely forget about them and on our wedding night look like Appolonia from the Godfather
that looks like a really good option! Although, if my seamstress already started alterations would adding a bra change what she’s already done? Don’t know if it would be too tight with a bra added. maybe not though
Glad you like it! My dress has boning as well which is why I didn’t think I needed a bra but not sure now
that’s what I’m afraid of – that I’ll be too smushed when she laces the corset. She didn’t lace it at the first fitting so I couldn’t tell
I think part of the problem was that she didn’t show me different sizes, just stuck one in there and it looked too big

Thanks. I really liked it too.

I wear a 34A or 36A. I had cups sewn and wore a adhesive bra as well for extra confidence that I wouldn’t have any slips! The cups I had really helped!
you can kind of see the bra thingy in this pic:
And this is what it looked like fully on:
I had cups sewn in, but they didn’t really do much. Small is small is small haha. Here’s a close-ish shot that isn’t awkward ;]

I had chips sewn in and if I could go back, I wouldn’t do it. Im so small that I have no cleavage so you could clearly see the top of cups when looking down my chest. Luckily I don’t think anyone could see it but me but still. It might have been the neckline of the dress as well but I think it would have been better without.

thanks! All good things to think about. I guess I won’t really know until I have my second fitting and I can decide based on what it looks like then

I recommend the adhesive bras they have at Target. I am 32B and it filled in my dress and never budged, felt natural until it came time to take it off (ouch!).
