Does anyone (or did anyone) do smaller bouquets either for your bridal bouquet or bridesmaids bouquets? I know this is rather subjective, but if you had smaller bouquets in your wedding, can I see some pictures? It doesn’t have to be flowers either: brooches, fabric flowers, buttons, whatever! I’m currently starting the test trial phase of my bouquets and I am kind of liking keeping them small…but everyone is telling me they’re *too small.*

I’m using this feather bouquet. If I remember correctly it’s 8″. I don’t have any pics of me carrying it right now, but I think it’s a good size for me.

Don’t have any pictures, but I just want to say I think it is a great idea. My bouquets were huge! There were so many things that went wrong with the flowers, and they ended up doubling the number of flowers in the bouquets. That part was generous, and they looked absolutely gorgeous in photos, but my bouquet was just insanely heavy (like 25 pounds- I was passing my bouquet around and no one could believe its weight). I nearly dropped it in the ceremony and couldn’t wait to hand it off to my Maid/Matron of Honor. There are actually several pictures with my husband and my bouquet, because he had to help me carry them, and most of the family shots, my husband and I are holding up my bouquet together (the family shots lasted forever, and after a while I couldn’t hold them as high as my photographer wanted)- haha. I love the way it looked in our photos, but I’m not all that into flowers, so I think I would have rather had something that was more comfortable to hold.

Thanks for the feedback! I plan on expanding the bouquets another inch or so am looking at different ways to do so. I still prefer them smaller and dainty. Plus, with only fifteen brooches in a current bouquet, it’s already weighing in at five pounds…
