About 3 year ago now, the company I work for started a wellness program, and I had one of the lowest health scores when we did our physicals at the beginning of the year! I was at 65/100. So I started to slowly clean up my diet – I just gave up soda and fast food at first – as well as started exercising regularly. Within a year, I lost about 60 lbs and I went from a US size 8/10 to a size 0/2. My health score went up to 100/100 at that next year’s physical. Here’s the before and after picture I’ve been using:
I never took deliberate before and after photos, so I don’t have many full length pictures of when I was heavier! I should probably change my ‘after’ picture to a more current one, though I haven’t actually lost any weight since then. I’m currently in maintenance mode, and I use my FitBit Flex, MFP, and Map My Run to keep track of my calories in and calories out.
