So I’m ready to do it… I’ve been searching for a ring which defines my girlfriend’s class and beauty but am having a tough time narrowing it down to the right one.
What are people’s thoughts on these rings? These are the style I am going for and my girlfriend is DEFINITELY a yellow gold person.
This first ring is a vintage ring from the 50s…
This next ring has an aquamarine center diamond.
…Choosing the perfect ring is hard. Ive also hired a friend of mine who is a jewlery artist to make a ring design for me but am still waiting.
Any opinions on these rings would be greatly appreciated!! 🙂

I personally prefer the look of the first but the second is a stunning ring.
Out of curiosity what’s your girlfriend’s job? Many Bees here have a 2nd, less blingy engagement ring because they use their hands a lot at work (doctors, nurses, lab techs, any job where you have to put on gloves on a daily basis). That might be something to consider. Is your girlfriend someone who likes to wear a little bit of bling? If so I’d go with the 2nd one.

Wow I love the first one (and my favorite center stone is an aquamarine!!)…
congratulations on making the step and you’re adorable for coming here to ask advise!!

I think they’re both really beautiful. Has she mentioned wanting a non-traditional stone? If not then I would stick to the diamond 🙂 Good luck!

They’re both gorgeous, but it really depend on your gf. Does she like estate jewelry? Does she like nontraditional e-rings with a different stone? My personal preference is the first, but I’m a big fan of vintage jewelry. 🙂 Good luck!

I agree with OttawaBride, if she is more of a non traditional gal then the 2nd one is great but if not, stick with the diamond!
Good idea to come to a site with all of us crazy brides for advice!

I think the first one is really unique and beautiful. Congratulations on your future engagement and good luck!

Love the first one! The second one is beautiful too, but you can’t go wrong with a classic.

I really love the first one!

I love the design of the second ring. I would swap out the aquamarine stone for a round brilliant cut diamond.

I love the first one, too! Really unique and very beautiful, although the second one is very beautiful, as well, I would go with the first one.

I prefer the second one, but I wouldn’t choose that unless she’s already indicated that she would like a non-diamond engagement ring. 😉 Good luck!

I love the first one! It’s beautiful. I’d make sure she’s okay with a non-traditional stone… my issue with them is that they don’t match everything since I wear a bunch of different colors all the time. But I’m weird like that, I guess.

I think I like the second one better. Just a head’s up .. has she vocalized a yellow gold preference? I wear gold jewelry but i didn’t want that for my engagement ring.

The first one is a pretty safe choice, but I definitely prefer the second.
