How do you guys keep calm and center yourselves when your hormones are nuts and your SO is driving you crazy?
For the past week I’ve been a big ol’ ball of bitchy, sad, jealous, puffy Crazy Person. I dont know how its possible to simultaneously think “I’m awesome, he doesnt deserve me” AND “I love him so much, I just want to get married tomorrow but-he-doesnt-love-me-thinks-Im-fat-dfskdjfks!” but somehow I’m managing
cold shower? exercise? head desking? Everytime I go near the internet Im suddenly looking at wedding dresses and hating him. OMG HELP.

Working out will help with water weight if you’re bloated/puffy. Also drink tons of water and avoid salt.
I generally am pretty even tempered during shark week since I’m on hormonal birth control.

You poor thing! I feel you – I would recommend exercise & have you tried yoga?? I find it incredibly soothing 🙂 Try doing some things for yourself, whether it be going to the beach, shopping, go for a run, read a book ect

@aokay: Ahh! I so know how you feel. I get pimply, bloated and moody when I’m PMS-ing and even more impatient than usual. So picture me, all gross and teary pestering SO about wedding-y things 😛
I’d avoid wedding-y things. I teared up looking at a proposal story and got all weepy the other day :-s so take a walk, have a coffee or do your nails (hey, getting engaged could happen when you aren’t expecting it so it doesn’t hurt to have awesome nails!) 🙂

Thanks so much for the good advice guys, that was a bad week. Im on birth control (nuvaring) so I’ll often skip periods… but it seems when I do get around to having one its just SO BAD. Debating whether to skip all my periods, or have everyone. Booo lady bits…
On the upside I was indulging in moody wedding dress stalking and my SO snuck up behind me. I paniced and shut my laptop, but he had already saw, he laughed it off and told me I didnt have to hide looking at that stuff. 😀 (But I will anyway, somehow it makes it funner)
