- Wedding: October 2010
Ceremony is at Noon, hors d’oeuvres reception at 2. Ceremony will be about 30 minutes, give or take and that leaves around 90 minutes.
Because we’re just doing hors d’oeuvres, we have no “cocktail hour”. I was thinking of providing beverages and snacks in between, with background music playing.
The reception site has a mini golf course just behind it and an arcade room adjacent to it. Plus the place is really scenic. Lakeside, nestled in the mountains, a few places to walk and take in the views.
***The reception site is a youth center, but with the lighting/space makes for a good reception hall**
Does it seem like a good idea for guests? We’re not overly formal and aren’t having a formal wedding…But I thought it may be better than just sitting around chatting for an hour or so… As a guest, would you possibly take advantage of a little fun in between time?
