Unforuntately, restrturing is so common these days and so many jobs are being outsourced. Our company never use to lay off anyone and we are going through our second set of layoffs soon.  Honestly, some of my friends that have been laid off have gotten BETTER jobs the job after they were laid off. There are lots of jobs in accounting, so hopefully you can get back on your feet soon!  You may want to start looking at some bigger companies. A lot of times their benefits are a little better (give maternity, better healthcare, more PTO, etc.)

Ugh that sucks but not your fault and not anything a future employer would care about. However assuming you’re in the USA apply for unemployment stat. You’re entitled to it when your are laid off due to downsizing

loden :  I remember you from the Feb 2017 Mom’s group before I left in September! I’m happy to see things have worked out for you. I remember reading your last thread and being so angry for you! Congrats on your sweet babe. 😊
