I’m doing the same but it won’t make our table huge since it’s only adding one person (we’re only having 2 people each, my Bridesmaid or Best Man is dating the Groomsmen and my Maid/Matron of Honor is single, so we only need to had the BM’s fiancee to the table).

I don’t know if we’re breaking any etiquette rule – and I don’t care!

As long as everyone’s happy…

if it fits, I suppse – we had a long head table and it barely fit. we had us, and 6 Bridesmaid or Best Man, 6 Groomsmen. the younger (junior) attendants sat at a family table with their parents.

How many people are gonna be on the headtable in total?

We had 8: me and my husband, my parents, his parents, moh and best man, the bridesmaids and grooms men were together on another table near us

We are having a GIGANTIC head table!  We each have 5 attendants and have those with SOs sit with.  It will be big, but I’m happy about it; I want to celebrate with those nearest and dearest 🙂

We’re doing this as well.  We each have 4 attendants and their 8 spouses are sitting with us, along with 2 jr bridesmaids.  Including us it’s a total of 20 people at the head table.  There will be no one across from Fiance and myself so we’ll still be easy to “see” but it will allow everyone to sit with their SO’s.  Our bridal party is psyched really.

DH’s bff did it this way. They had a large oval table and sat everyone around it except for right in front of them so that they could still be shown. It worked for them.

travelerkate, those were my thoughts too. These people are our best friends! Why wouldn’t we want to hang out all together? Plus the only person in my wedding party who has an SO is my sister, so there will only be 10. OP, I don’t blame you at all. Have a big head table, you guys won’t really even be sitting there for that long anyway 🙂
