I went to bed less than 2 hours ago and I wake up to what I characterize as the sound of my brother getting in and out of bed. So I get up prepared to lecture and…he’s fast asleep.
Then I hear the pitter patter of an animal in my room of the house…scratching/digging and running. I am so creeped out right now. I am scarred to go to sleep because what if it digs through the drywall and comes flying through the air…this sucks. It won’t stop digging. I hope it’s on the roof…but I don’t think it is. ugh.

Ewwww!! No no no and no! I’m sorry. But scratching noises are the creepiest. Just hit yourself on the head really hard. You’ll knock yourself out and then you can sleep/not hear scary noises.

eeewwwwwwwww I wouldn’t sleep at all listening to that!!!! I had a cricket jump on my face one night while I was going to sleep and about died!!!! Didn’t fall asleep until I was absolutely certain it was dead. lol
That story doesn’t really help you… but good luck, maybe turn on your tv or something to drown out the noise?

Don’t have a tv in my room but I debated sleeping on the couch. I can even hear the stupid thing out in the hallway. It amazes me what deep sleepers my family are. It’s been about 30-40 minutes now of this thing digging. I’m just hoping it’s not a rat/mouse. We live by a preserve and mom thought she saw one a couple of months ago. Squirrel? Ok. Raccoon? I could live with that. Rat/mouse? OMG please kill me now.
Excuse the melodramatics please…tired and creeped out Polar Bears don’t react rationally to things that go bump in the night LOL

OMG there are large rodents scratching up my place too!!! HAHA! It’s been going on for months. We’ve tried everything. They’re on our roof and it is so, so sick. We’re moving in 2 weeks I CANNOT WAIT. Just had to let you know you’re not alone!!

Aww!! Thats so horrible!!! I had that happen once when I was young in my parents house. We later found out there were mice in the garage. I think they crawled all through the walls. Yuck.
