@mestisanz:  Thank you! It is, in fact, LBT. I agree that it’s the right size for my finger. I was originally going to get a 7x5mm because I didn’t want a huge rock on my finger, but I couldn’t try it on because it was online and I’ve never seen a LBT in an actual store. So I made a cut out of both sizes and debated for two weeks over which looked better. Nice to know you think I picked right! 🙂

@Cavie92:  hmmm…that is SO VERY cool!   Okay, 1.15ct with a spready cut, that’s a food thing because the diamond (assuming its a diamond) will look larger ththeirs weight indicates.  Do you know if its am Old European Cut?  being from Austria, it may well be.  If it is….you are a lucky lady :)!!!  Being that your an athlete, you’d probably best be served by a low profile setting.  Even still, the double halo would give you that added finger coverage.  I’ll upload a pic of my setting that I just completed last week.  The center diamond is an Old Euro Cut, 1.6cts.  I like the finger coverage also, so I a designed it with a substantial bezel with a pave halo with mill grained rims.  That could be an option for you to?  The heavy bezel completely protects the stone, as well :)!!  As well, being that you’re active, you may want to go with a band that is rather plain, but not too thick because then it could distract from the main show ;)!!  Although, split shanks a seem to add finger coverage also 🙂

here’s my e-ring & bands.  Mind you, I wear a 6.5; however, a ring style like this can look large on anyone.  I’m very active also, I am an artist…so I scrub my ring everyday with a toothbrush to keep it clean :)!!!  Lol!!
