If your worried about the size of the stone looking small and your not set on a solitaire, you’ve got tons of wiggle room! Cluster rings are gorgeous, antique settings are usually bigger and more intricate, 3 or even 5 stone rings will give you a more substantial look! If you’re willing to look outside of diamonds, check out moissaniteco.com, even for setting ideas. Maybe an awesome saphire or something similar will fit the bill.

Happy window-shopping!

I wear a size 8.25, and my center stone is a .94, with the 2 sidestones, it’s 1.24 tcw. My wedding band adds another .65 ct.

I wear a size 9.5 right now and I have a couple of sizes I can show you.  I also have smaller looking hands!

Here is a .81 carat pear

Here is a .75 alexandrite, even though I was told it is close to .5

Here is a cubic zirconia that is around .25

here is a ring around 1.5 carat round

I wear a size 7.5-8. My ering is a custom desgined three-stone set in a yellow gold twisted pave band. The center is a .75 carat lazare and the sides are each .5 carats. The great thing about three-stone or halo style rings is even with smaller diamonds they can “fill out” larger hands. I was afraid my hand would dwarf a smaller diamond. Also, I have noticed that higher quality diamonds (excellecnt cut and color) can make the stones look bigger as they reflect more light. My friend has a 1 carat poorly cut solitaire and our diamonds looked the same size. She was shocked when I told her it was a .75. We held them up and the difference was barely noticable.

.68 carat center stone (princess cut) with an extra .70 carats in the band, 14k rose gold on an 8.5 finger! There is a finger sprint on the center stone that smudged it a little.
