Okay so our vow renewal will be at 1 followed by a cocktail reception from 2-5pm… open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvers. Not a sit down meal…
Its more of a meet and great and everything else a place to wind down and go on about the ceremony and for us to say hi to everyone and whatnot… before the party really gets started on fremonth street at the strip.
soooo…. I am wondering if an IPOD station would be okay for this? Or would you expect dancing in the afternoon? I started thinking about this today.
Let me know what you think!

Check with were you are having the cocktails, they may already have a sound system set up for that type of thing. With the IPod thing, I guess it would depend on how techy you are, or the KIDS are. I would not have been able to do it myself ( I have the stepson put my music on my phone for me ), but if we had gone that route, I would have had one of our kids set it all up for me.

I will be borrowing my friends ipod and her docking station, she will be attending so its all good there:) Its just for 3 hours and I really do not want anyone being bored or anything…
My husband and I (hopefully our photographer as well) get to ride to the reception in the pink caddilac with Elvis Himselvis:) Really looking forward to it!!!

I think an iPod would be just fine. Make a playlist that’s just longer than the amount of time you have the space for. I would position the iPod such that other people can’t get to it, otherwise you might have someone trying to play other music.
