I just booked my ceremony with Chapel of the Flowers in Vegas- Im no newbie to Sin City, but im at a loss for reception ideas- know what i dont want- no designated dance floor- no private suite in a hotel- no private room in a restaurant-
Im looking for heavy apps and open bar in on strip or off strip restaurant /bar. Bootlegger bistro is my top contender but they just raised their prices.
Any one have any thoughts?
40-60 people and want to keep it 50 bucks a head. (is that even plausible?)
Not sure if im in over my head or not….

Check out Firefly on Paradise. They’re a Tapas bar/restaurant, so basically appetizers. The food is to die for and their specialty Sangrias are AMAZING. They’re pretty affordable, too!

I’m so happy to hear you booked your wedding with Chapel of the Flowers! I’m with them and you won’t be disappointed! We also plan receptions and have several reception partners, so talk to your planner and see what she recommends for you – they’re great at helping you stay within budget.
My only thought is you may want to open yourself up to the idea of a private room – otherwise how will the staff know who gets open bar and the apps? Our newest venue Canaletto has some great private rooms that overlook the downstairs area of St. Mark’s Square at Venetian, so you have the space to just your party, but not closed in or anything. That’s just a thought, but definitely ask your planner on her ideas – she’ll know better than me.
Well, Congratulations and I wish you all the best!
