Hi i’ve been getting my forearms, face, bikini, and underarms done for almost a year and I have not been very pleased with my results.

I still need to shave my face and under arms like every 2-3 days (i used to wax but you can’t with the laser treatments) my forearms and bikini have only shown slight inprovements in less hair, what started off as only supposing to be 6 treatments on each body part is going to turn into a 2 year ordeal. Thank god the place i go to has a garrantee for 2 years after your 6 sessions to come in at any time and continue the treatment. But i’m so sick of going there every couple of weeks. Plus i had to take the summer off as I got too tan for treatments so i couldnt do any from june to october.

I had it done on multiple areas for an extended amount of time. I don’t think it worked as well on me as I would have liked. You are fair skinned with dark hair so it should have better results for you. I have moderately pale skin, but tan easily and have brown hair and some light hair, so it just didn’t work as well as I would have liked. It reduced that amount of hair and I now have to shave less often and never get razor burn but I do still have to shave…

I would only recommend it to people will skin and hair like yours, who also have a large enough pain tolerance to be able to deal with them laser turned up. I also learned that if you have a low pain tolerance and need to have them turn the laser way down it can actually stimulate hair creation and not even kill the follicles. Definitely something to be careful about.

There are a lot of other threads on this. You could take a look at some of those for more info/opinions if you want.
