I’ve done electrolysis. After a lot of research, I came to the conclusion that electrolysis is better than laser hair removal.

I’ve done it, quite a bit. I think it depends on where and how much hair you are targeting. They say for laser, the best is fair skin with dark hair – but it always seems to come back after awhile. Hair grows in cycles, so the hair that a laser treatment gets rid of is only some of the hair that is produced in whatever area of the body you are lasering – after a few months you’ll notice new hairs – these are growing out of different follicles that were dormant previously.

It is painful, but more painful in some places than others. Imagine someone constantly snapping a rubber band hard (very hard) against whatever area you are getting lasered and that’s what it feels like.

Overall – I like it…I don’t LOVE it…but when it comes to hair removal, the only thing that is permanent is electrolysis, which is much more time consuming and expensive. I’ve got PCOS so I’m a bit of an expert when it comes to hair removal, LOL.

I go to American Laser Center. I am pale white with black hair. 3 years and $3,000 later my area is 4/5 less hairy.

Electrolysis is good in that it can pretty much be done with any skin tone or hair color. It’s more flexible than laser. So if you have light hair and skin, electrolysis may be a better option for you than laser.
