    I did my legs and underarms and love it! It took about 5 sessions to completely remove the hair on my legs. But now I don’t really have to shave. I get maybe three hairs that pop up every couple of months.

    I did it in Korea, though, where was really inexpensivel. But 60% off should be a really good price, too!

    I just finished my 8 sessions and had my entire body lasered. I love it. I do not shave any part of my body anymore and it feels so great. Shaving used to caus me lots of pain especially when it grew back. But now………..freedom.

    It’s awesome.  I went from having coarse black hairs on my legs to lily white legs LOL.  I have maybe a hair or two that might pop up from time to time. It’s been…4?…years since I had the six sessions done, and I’m definitely looking into getting more done.

    I’d check into the reputation of that company just to be safe, but laser hair removal deals do pop up all the time.

    @bmo88:  I was the front manager at a LHR salon for years.  If you want any specific questions answered you can PM me and I’d be glad to help.  I did not do the actual procedures on clients but know the ins and outs of everything.  I booked clients, answered all of their questions, and handled customer service, scheduling etc.

    I haven’t had it done but my sister did and it didn’t work well for her. I don’t know if it works better on some hair types but she still has to shave just as much as before. Althought maybe the place just sucked. They burned her with the laser one time. I’ve always wanted it done but after what happened to her I have a hard time believing it would be worth it.

    @bmo88:  Yes… I couldn’t very well explain it to my clients if I hadn’t experienced it.  I have had my lip, underarms, and legs lasered, and have also lasered the technician under supervision.

    I bought a $99 groupon special for six underarm sessions at a good medispa. It’s not great and it’s not bad either. I wouldn’t spend the money for laser unless you have a lot of deep ingrown hairs, or get a really good deal.

    The hair comes in really fine now, but I still have to shave on occasion.  The underarm birthmark I have ( and loved) is fading too.

    For me, it’s way more painful than waxing, and the laser that was used has a special cooling tip, so I’d hate to have tried anything else.

    I’m curious too! Thinking of underarms and legs. My hair is soo thick I’m worried it wouldn’t work or its going to be super expensive for me

    @bmo88:

    Probably thighs (I only had my lower legs done before), and maybe some more underarm (I had this done with my lower legs, but coarser hair takes more zapping).  I might do bikini too.

    It wasn’t permanent but it was worth it. I’m a hairy gal that would typically have to shave my legs every 2-3 days. Now, I got mooooooonths without shaving. I also did full body hair removal (i mean everywhere!).

    I have currently had 2 sessions for Brazilian and underarms. Hair is already growing back thinner and no rashes. So far so good:)

    @bmo88:  I don’t know about the costs elsewhere in the world but I ended up paying around $4500 for my full body which included 8 x 90min sessions. There is no hair left on me apart from my eyebrows and top of my head. Worth every penny – I no longer worry about hair….ever.
