Laser tag sounds awesome. I’ve done a painting class similar to what you listed – wine and painting. It was really fun. I’m not having a bachelorette party, but when I was my sister’s Maid/Matron of Honor I threw out the following ideas:

  • shooting range

  • trapeze class

  • stunt classes

  • amusement park/mini golf

  • local bar/arcades – like dave & busters but not lame

Needless to say, I was shut down on all of the above. Haha. We ended up spending the weekend renting a VRBO in Savannah (and took a ghost tour!). It was actually pretty fun, despite the penis straws.

We wanted to take my Future Sister-In-Law rock climbing or paintballing, but the rock wall is already rented out and we were afraid of having her all bruised up from paintball! We settled for dinner at her fav chinese restaurant and dancing at the country bar. She’s a country gal.

That is a fantastic idea!!!

I want to go to a drag show!  I’m not just limiting my bachelorette party to my female friends.  The future hubby won’t be there but most of my friends are guys and they are absolutely coming!

I’m not the drunk penis paraphenalia clubbing sort and most of my friends aren’t either.  We’re planning a spa day with massages, mani-pedis, cupcakes and maybe a little champagne, but nothing excessive.  We live in different parts of the country, so a bit of pampering while catching up is ideal for us.

My fiance is going to do pizza and a film marathon with his friends.  Probably LOTR or Star Wars or Transformers of something like that.  He’s not much for clubbing either.

This made me think that it would be really cool to go to an indoor go kart track!!!! I may have to mention it to my Maid/Matron of Honor.

I want to go white water rafting!  it’s fairly inexpensive (about the same as clubbing and renting a hotel room) and there are bars on the resort as well…..it would be awesome…

We did a sushi making class… then ate it all of course.  It was fun and delicious!  then we went out to a quite lounge for a few drinks.  It was perfect.

I wanted paintballing, but I didn’t want to be bruised for my wedding day. Laser tag & maybe a Mariners game for me. 🙂

what fun ideas! Mine isn’t as exciting, but still somewhat non-traditional. No penis-themed outfits or clubbing or strippers for me either. Doing a wine tasting tour in the afternoon, then renting a mansion by the beach where we will all cook and eat dinner together and then have a fancy sleepover. my last one ever! (an obsiouly first one in a veeery long time hahaha)

I’m not one for clubbing and drinking now either.

My bachelorette party was perfect. My girlfriends took me out to a dinner theatre and it was a hilarious time!

Warrior Dash!  But I am making all my BM’s wear a veil so I’m not picked on. Then afterwards we’re hitting the (very teeny) town and making total asses out of ourselves with people we’ll never see again.  Good times.  http://www.warriordash.com/index.php

One of my MOHs told me that my party was set for Nov 17 and we are kinda making it a girls nite out. We are going shopping in Dallas, then gettin in the limo to go out to eat, hittin the club up for a bit… and here’s where it gets interesting… We are going to a hotel where there will be a pole dancing instructor there to teach us how to pole dance. After that we are having a roast for me! I’m so excited!
