I have wanted to try these SO BAD.

One of my girlfriends had them for her wedding, I will email her ASAP and get her input. I’m pretty sure she loved them though.

Mrs. Sea Breeze and Mrs. Caramel both tried eyelash extensions if you want to read their accounts.  This is definitely something I want to try too!

@ms. fondue: and the results are in:

I’ve had the eyelash extensions a total of 3 times now and each time was sooo different. Different girls each time. When it was good, it was fab…loved it and didn’t need mascara. They lasted our whole 3 week honeymoon too. But when they start to fall out, they look terrible. Cause then some are long, some are your own and adding mascara makes it a clumpy mess. Would I do it again? Most likely not…I’d just pay more money for better quality false ones I think.

ETA: The only reason I don’t think I personally would want to try them, is the ugly, uneven falling out after part.

Yep, I got lash extensions that lasted throughout my bachelorette party, wedding & honeymoon. Normally you can’t see my eyelashes b/c I have sort of an almond eye; and I like the extensions b/c they had a natural look & made my eyelash/eyeline pop.

@.twist.:Thanks to your friend!  This is what a fear, the half there/half not look.

@AnnieAAA:Did you where mascara on yours?  They look gorgeous!! But I always wondered whether you can where mascara and really make them pop.

@mspony: Yea, that’s my big turn off too. Although, I remember when she had them and I don’t recall noticing them falling out… (I saw her every day at work), and I don’t remember ever thinking “oh god, her eyelashes look all uneven”… maybe it isn’t as noticable to others as it is to yourself??

I had them because they came with a summer package I bought at my beauty salon. I wasn’t a huge fan.. I found that they looked clumped and that it was hard to put mascara on. I also could feel that they were there…. they didn’t feel natural to me. But I know other people who’ve tried them and loved them…so you won’t know until you try!

@mspony: Yes, I didn’t wear it prior to the wedding, but told my make up artist to lather them up for the wedding (since the reason I got them was for the wedding, I really wanted them to be dark & pop.)

@ms. fondue: From what I know it is not best to remove them, since they are glued on your lashes, its best to them run their course until your natural eyelashes fall out, or they fall off natually.

But, to not look crazy, you can do a quick easy trim (since you may have some that are super long & some that have already fallen off.)

i got them done once and i LOVED them! i can not WAIT to get them done again! they lasted nicely for a month and then started to fall out and look weird (some long some short) but i just put some mascara on and let it be. i don’t think it’s something that i should do all the time because too much of a good thing can be bad (its not the best for your eyelashes obviously) but i’m definitely having them done for my engagement photos and my wedding. the place i went to was amazing, it was a bit expensive but WORTH IT!

I’m having them done. I had them for my trial and they are AWESOME. I have mega long eyelashes to begin with and I thought I’d look silly with them, but they made my eyes pop even more! It didn’t feel like I was wearing anything and when it came time to take them off I just pinched my lashes gently and pulled out, you could feel the difference in your real lash vs the fake, no sticky residue either!

I should add, I don’t think mine were permanent or anything. The makeup artist used glue but they came off easily and painfree.
