I think the ‘two step’ mascaras are great….but I cannot say enough great things about having your eyelashes tinted.
A higher-end spa/salon can do this – they use vegetable dye and it lasts for weeks. You can still use mascara but don’t have to and really, it’s MUCH easier than trying to make sure your mascara doesn’t run and will probably look good with lashes. Coupled with something that makes them a bit fuller, it would probably be great.

Thank you everyone for your comments.
@oracle: You can get it almost anywhere they sell makeup. I got mine at Fred Meyer.

Ohh, my mom uses Latisse and that stuff is AMAZING. Her blue eyes are still blue and she doesn’t have any weird cheek hair. She does have super long, super thick, awesome lashes. Pretty impressive for a blondie who’s 60 and barely had eyelashes when she started. Sadly, despite my dark hair, I am relatively hairless which is great for my legs but sucks for my brows and lashes. I think I’m definitely going to try this stuff! Can you use it on brows or strictly lashes?

Good for your mom!!!
I was afraid of the Latisse, and it is way out of my budget.
I am not sure about brows. It just says for lashes, but you could be our guinea pig 🙂

@noritake22: I know, it’s way out of my budget too. She’s been using it for several months with no weird side effects (which I hadn’t heard of before) so if I could afford it, I would totally do it.
I just might be! 🙂

@kate169:Mine are the same way and every single mascara I have ever used just makes them fall. I am now in love with Cover girl waterproof 3in1mascara its awesome and keeps my lashes nice and curled! Also try curling them with a spoon haha, it totally works!

Hey! I used these for a month and they really worked on me too. I still have 1/3 of a bottle left. I will definitely restart these a few months before the wedding. 🙂
