I was just wondering when people will be getting their last hair cut or their last color touch up before the wedding?
I have about 4 1/2 months until my wedding. I’ve been growing out my hair, and I want to get highlights for the wedding. My hair is all one shade now. Would you recommend getting it trimmed and colored now so I can see how it looks, or should I just hold off until a couple of weeks before the wedding so it will be freshly done and flawless?

I think that if you are going to do it, you should do it now. My hair person told me not to get anything done to my hair before the trial, which is about to happen in about 15 minutes. I am not sure, if she will recommend that I get a trim before the wedding or not.

I’m in desperate need of a haircut but I’m waiting until after my trial. I plan on getting it cut 6 weeks before the wedding. I would get color done closer to the wedding so your roots dont have time to show.

I’m getting a cut right before the wedding, probably the weekend before. But then again I keep my hair in a medium length bob and longish sidw swept bangs. I want to look like me for the wedding plus not have to fight with my hair on the honeymoon. My trial is next weekend and I’m actually getting my hair cut the day before.

I got mine cut two weeks ago. My Wedding date is 6-11 so it was a little early but sometimes they get a little too scissor happy and cut too much.

So the general consensus is wait, huh? I think I’ll get my split ends cut this week, then hold off until July to get the highlights done and a final trim.

I only got a trim and it was 2 weeks before. I’ve never gotten my hair colored before but I’d say 6 weeks?
