I’m wanting to have another, less traditional favor at my reception. Right now I have brown damask pillow boxes with jordan almonds at every place setting. (BORING I know!)
What else can I do that will WOW my guests and not cost me and arm and a leg at the same time?!?!?!

I am doing small bags of kettle corn. They double as my escort cards. I am just doing one per couple/family.

I have seen brides do a fresh apple or pear. I thought that was cute and again can double as an escort card.

I kind of like the powdered hot chocolate idea someone mentioned on the boards the other day. Throw some marshmallows and peppermint in there and it is a yummy treat that can be done inexpensively.

@sarahlyn2626 – Can I ask where you got your kettle corn at? And do you have any pics?
@Storm0075 – I’ve seen the same favors done before. They are very adorable!
Any more suggestions ladies?!

My fiance and I canned homemade apple butter for our favors. If you don’t have to do too many, it’s not that hard and it’s something we did together!

Maple flavored lollipops! I got mine from a Bee/Vendor in the classifieds here.

Does anyone know where I can purchase those cellophane cone bags from? Preferably a store, not online. I need to get started on these right away!

Is this what you are looking for? This website sells 100 for 8.99.

@Waves2: Yes! Exactly. I really don’t want to order from a website though. I was hoping somewhere like Michaels or Hobby Lobby would carry these.

I didn’t see any on their websites, but you can always call them?
