@ButtercupBetty:  I think at this point and situation 20 bucks in a card is more than sufficient.

I just had my shower last week and someone gave me a fancy oven mit stuffed with like kitchen scissors, spatulas, a tiny cookbook (or you could get index cards and write recipes on them), coffee beans, kitchen towels .. ect.. you can fill it with whatever you want but I thought it was a practical gift and it would be pretty small for her to take home!

What about getting her a honeymoon bag?  Do you know where they are going?  You could put in things like sunscreen, flip-flps, sunglasses, books, magazines, snacks for traveling, hats, gloves, water bottle, beach bag, etc.

I have a really good idea that I gave someone for her bridal shower last weekend, something her Fiance will enjoy too! Give her an ice cream scoop and 4 ice cream bowls (although you can skip the bowls if you think that would be too heavy for her to take back with her… I bought 4 bowls for $3 each at Bed Bath & Beyond) and buy her some really nice ice cream toppings – gourmet fudge sauce, caramel sauce, and candy in cute bags (the candy is really cheap, but you can put it in plastic bags tied with ribbons or something to make it cute!). My friend loved it (the ice cream scoop had been on her registry) and her Fiance defffinitely loved it.

I have 2 ideas, the first is maybe a teeth whitening kit.  Ive given this gift a couple times and each time the bride absolutly LOVES it.  The second is an airplane survival kit that I just got for my bridal shower.  It was super creative and cute, it had a crossword book, travel pillow, flip flop slippers, Asprin, a bag tag (mine was a Washington Huskies one but you can find cute martini ones, animals, ect) A sleep mask, ect.  It was awesome!  Hope that helps!
