I ordered my bridemaid’s dresses from bridaldreamdress.com. My wedding was in September, we ordered them in late June and received them in a little over a month (after they told me it would take two – a pleasant surprise). They were gorgeous!! I would check out their website – they make replicas of designer gowns at a fraction of the cost – mine were $144 and free shipping.

ETA: I could send you a picture if you like. . .

What kind of dress are you looking for? Short/long? Straps/strapless? Chiffon/Satin?

Davids Bridal usually has a good selection of in stock, walk out of the store today bridesmaid dressses. And even when we ordered them they were in way before 6 months.

Maybe you need to look for dresses that are not specifically bridesmaid dresses? Macys? Nordstroms? J Crew? Ann Taylor? Stores like those have “evening” or “formal” dressses that look pretty much like bridesmaid dresses as far as I can tell.

My daughter got her girls’ dresses from Overstock.com. They are lovely, very good quality, and the price was amazing. They aren’t the color you are looking for, but Overstock has lots of things available in various colors and brand names. What I liked about buying this way was that she ordered the sizes they thought they needed, and then we had them try them on at home where they could be sure the fit was going to work without the pressure of saleslady hanging around. Obviously you have to figure in shipping costs for returns if you need to change sizes, but we saved enough that it wouldn’t have been a problem.

Let’s see if I can figure out how to do a link…these are the dresses we got…in the lovely dark teal color:

You should check out Modcloth!  You can search by color.

Here is one I found, there are only 5 left in stock:

This one is GORGEOUS but it’s over $100:

Here’s one more, a little different but fun!!

I would suggest reading the reviews of each dress before you buy them, it helps to know if something runs small, etc.

I was able to find a seamstress in my town who will make dresses for $40 each plus the cost of fabric (and I was able to get all the supplies for about $60/dress using very high quality stuff). Worth checking!

I found her on Thumbtack.com. She can make them in less than 2 weeks and they’ll for sure fit.

@bdockery:  Oh! So sorry, your original post said you had 6 months. That was weeks – I just didn’t look at your profile. They do have rush options if you find something on there you like.

Have you thought about doing different shades of the same color with different dresses for each girl?? That’s an adorable trend right now which may help solve your problem!

Don’t stress. You’ll think of something. Good luck!!

@bdockery:  Look for convertible dresses, they come in a lot of shades and length can be changed depending on the style of the dress. I know there are several sellers on Etsy and there is also a brand Henkaa that sells three lengths, a long, a knee length and a short. The knee length I think is around $120 and the short is just under $100.
