I am getting married in less than a week and only about half our guests have bought us a wedding present. (I know that gifts should not be expected and I am just happy knowing that so many people love us enough to come to our wedding, that’s not what this post is about.) We still have a lot of items that haven’t been bought from our registry, but we won’t have enough if most of the remaining 50% decide to get us something at the last minute. I don’t think I will have any time to keep tabs on my registry these next few days so I’m wondering if I need to add more items now.

@liliwo2016: We had 52 guests and 7 gave gifts (4 of those people were one married couple gift, so 5 things from the resistry)
The other 45 people gave us checks!

I only received gifts off of our registry at my bridal shower. All wedding gifts we received were check/cash.

How odd, we always get a gift off the registry a week or two prior to attending a wedding.

Hm. So it sounds like I’ll be just fine and should stop being a stressed out bride.

@Autumnsnow: Me too! I guess that’s why I’ve been wondering if everyone’s just going to buy a registry present at the last second!

@liliwo2016: We got between 10-20% the days leading up to the wedding and about 5% after. On our wedding day we got about 30% of our gifts in terms of a card with a check, cash, or gift card.
also, you will be fine. If people procrastinate and there is nothing left, that is on them.
