Ohhhh the things I waste my time thinking about! I’m about to order a custom return address stamp for our invites and to address the front of our RSVP envelopes. My question is: Is it unproper to use my future last name since we’re not married yet? So should it read “Lindsey (last name) & Dustin (last name)? I hate to spend money and not be able to use it after the wedding, ya know?

I’m planning on just doing “First Name & First Name” on my stamp! I just assume everyone will know who we are… lol. But we’re having a small wedding, so everyone should know. Is this an option for you? Or could you just put one of your names on it?

I just did our first names, so I could use them before and after the wedding. Ours just say Chad & Megan.

OttawaBride2011: We’re definitely having a small wedding about 100 close family members and friends so First name & first name should be just fine 🙂 Thank you!!!

Yeah definitely just use first names. Using your new name before the marriage is bad luck.

For our envelopes, I had a custom embosser with just our address made up, no names. For our RSVP postcards, they’re coming back to us and I printed them myself, so they say “The Soon To Be ____s” and our address. I think your first names would be totally fine, if you’re going to spend the money on something custom, I totally agree that you should be getting something that you can use after the wedding!
