I voted #1… much clearer, crisper images(possibly post processing).. you get less, which sucks.. but I like the quality of images A LOT better. 🙂

Have you seen any weddings they photographed from start to finish? I think that might make a difference. I’m hesitant to vote between the two until I know if you actually prefer one’s portfolios above the other’s.

Just based on websites, I can tell you that my thrifty heart would probably go with #2 even though I think the photography isn’t quite as nice. How big of an issue is budget for you?

I picked #1 only because I liked the quality of the pictures better.  Package wise the 2nd one sounds like a better deal and there pictures are really good.  I am getting our photographers for as long as possible!!!

The lighting and post processing on the first photographer are far superior than the 2nd. I would slash your budget somewhere else and pony up for a couple more hours of them. I wouldn’t feel comfortable having the second photographer shoot my own wedding.

#1 gave me butterflies, #2 was nice…but seemed a little ordinary.

have you tried searching on craigslist in your area for similarily styled photogs?? I had my heart set on one that charged a $5k base price… and ended up finding one just as amazing on craiglist for about a tenth of the price… just a thought. 🙂

oh darn. 🙁 Possibly try to negotiate with them… tell both that you are looking at another photographer with similar style/packages but want to know if they could offer you something better!

You love the first photographer and it’s within your budget at the moment. Plus, photography is a priority for you. Go for #1.

For me, quality of pictures was number 1 so I went with the nicer photographer even though it cost more.
