annonbee857 :  Honolulu would be great for you guys!

If you want an international beach getaway I see you’ve never been to the Cayman Islands, which have incredible beaches and fantstic food!

Oh, you could also probably swing Costa Rica, so beaches +volcanoes + rainforest

I would pick a location that would be really difficult to get to when you have a kid. Portugal could be romantic but still adventurous.

annonbee857 :  Hawaii is very kid-friendly (my 2 year old has been twice already!) so I would save that one for later and do an international trip!

Definitely pick somewhere you probably wouldnt go with your child. From your list youve already been to I would pick somewhere completely different (Cuba is too similar to caribbean for me, you can visit Hawaii whenever, Europe is easy with children) so I would go somewhere completely different like South East Asia or Africa. I would throw Australia and NZ in too even though they are kid-friendly because it would be a new continent for you.

Portugal has been a top pick in my circles this year. I didn’t go, but it seems amazing. Beautiful cities and amazing food! Lost of culture and very romantic.

i can also highly recommend Marocco. I spent a week in Marrakech this autumn and it was magical. By far the most luxurious vacation I have been on. The local cuisine is to die for and the mix of cultures is so so unique

Also, I disagree with PPs. You can travel with kids everywhere! Both me and my hubby were dreamed around to most weird places as kids. All my colleagues with kids travel all over the world. Just pick a location where you want to go now.

annonbee857 :  we did Cuba for our honeymoon in march. There were kids around but I don’t know how fun it is for them. My problem with Cuba would be the changes that occurring in Cuba if you wait too long it will have lost some its culture. The younger generation is losing interest in their culture and just want to follow the US. However, I believe there have been some instances of Zika in Cuba, from what I’ve read it’s possibly people infected elsewhere but you’d need to do your research on that.

I would agree with mrs2014 and look into Morocco. You can visit Marrakesh and the Atlas Mountains. There’s a lot of 10 day trip itineraries for Morocco online and you can modify them to suit your vacation length. Morocco is on our must visit list and we’d probably prefer to do it before kids.

Out last trip before TTC was South Africa. We did Cape Town, 2 days of shark diving, and 4 days on safari (Impodimo Lodge at Madikwe Game Reserve). I can’t speak highly enough of our trip. And the best part was everything there is dirt cheap right now, so you could easily do it on your budget!

This isn’t even a question to me…Ireland all the way from the poll choices.

I accidentally voted “somewhere else” because I did not see Hawaii staring in my face! Go there – Hawaii is always a good idea.

Definitely no chance of zika in Ireland – climate doesn’t allow for it!! Match your holiday to St. Patrick’s Day & you’ll have a fantastic time!
