I voted somewhere else because I’d go to a different Hawaiian island. We went to Maui for our last pre baby trip and Kauai is beautiful too. Hawaii is definitely kid friendly but that flight is NOT.

annonbee857 :  definitely agree with PP that if you choose to do Hawaii you should skip Honolulu and go to Maui.

Dublin is fine but unless you’re up for hitting up the pub (sober, if you have a baby onboard) then it’s not as exciting as you might think. I was just there last month and the city is completely destroyed with a long term construction project. They putting in a rail or trolley system and all the streets are dug up and there’s safety fencing and street closures all over. Very hard to get a good photo of anything because it’s everywhere! If you want to go somewhere near there, Scotland is infinitely better, in my opinion.

I’d be wary of Morocco due to crime reasons… not all Cubans are totally comfortable with Americans being allowed back in and plenty have something to say about the election. It’ll be over by the time you go, but keep political tension in mind before you book anything.

Of your list, I vote for Portugal. But really, I’d recommend the Azores over Lisbon.

I echo what other posters have said about saving the “easier” trips like Hawaii for when you have kids, and to do the more adventurous stuff now. This is your last chance for a while!

Have you considered Asia? It can be cheap and would be a different experience to the places you have been before. China has so much to offer. Also Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines would be good ones!

Of the poll choices though I would pick Lisbon 🙂

Oh!! Edited to add NEW ZEALAND!! If you’re into the adventure stuff that is..

annonbee857 :  I voted Ireland just because that’s where the husband and I want to go next, but one of the countries we visited on our honeymoon was Iceland and we fell in love. Such a beautiful country, the most friendly people, and great excursions you can partake in. If you’re going in March you would also probably be able to see the Northern Lights (we missed it unfortunately since we went in the summer).

My vote would be Havana, because as PP said it is likely to be very different in a few years time, and at the moment it’s just so unique. I’ve been twice and absolutely love it.

My second choice would be Lisbon (I would also try to spend some time in Porto though if you have enough time (you would need at least 8-9 days to make both work)). We visited in the summer and really loved it.

annonbee857 :  Isn’t Cuba on Zika alert status up to now? I just checked the cdc.gov website and it’s on level 2. Not sure I would go there if I were you if you’ll be trying to get pregnant in a few months. You should double check first.

Ireland! I would love to go there.

I wouldn’t go to Cuba specifically because of Zika.

mrshomemaker :  I’d second this! Coasta Rica is gorgeous and has a lot of variety! I would look into Zika, however.
