I’ve seen posts on bees post “is this appropriate to wear for a wedding?” – let’s see what you actually wore! I figure this may be a good reference for bees who are stumped.
Share what you wore to the last wedding that you went to (as a guest). Include details on where, level of formality, and any relevant details (themed-wedding, season, indoor/outdoor, etc).
I’ll start it off – New York City black tie wedding indoors.

haha, me too!
I wanted to participate but I can’t find any full-body photos of me from my most recent weddings (2013, hah). Red and white staggered horizontal striped dress with a flare and spaghetti straps – indoor, evening, casual wedding (bride didn’t wear a wedding gown, for clarity). Before that, it was a yellow floral tank top, cream colored coverup (no idea what that’s called) and *gasp* blue jeans for an outdoor, afternoon/evening, also casual wedding where the groom said “wear jeans”.

I don’t have any pictures on my iPad but it was a black tie wedding on a steam boat and I wore “a little black dress”.

My last time was to my mother-in-law’s wedding. I wore a white pencil skirt with a ruffled bottom, a silky neon red button down blouse, and cognac brown strappy sandal heels.

I had a bit of boobage (slightly risque?) but this is what I wore to last wedding I attended, it was Valentine’s Day this year, formal wedding.. Black lace dress, red heels and lips cuz it was Valentine’s Day so I couldnt resist…

I haven’t been to any black tie weddings in at least a few years, so depending on the season, I mostly wear LBD’s. I have a lace one with short sleeves, another lace one with long sleeves, and a midi black bandage dress (it’s not tight, but is form fitting) and has short sleeves and a high neck which I will wear a statement necklace with.
I live in NY so black dresses are the norm and I own so many of them so they tend to be brought out for the nicer occasions 🙂

The last wedding I went to, I wore this navy dress. It was an autumn evening wedding and not very formal.
I’m going to a wedding in a week and will wear this blue floral dress, but I had it altered to make the skirt less poufy but still high low.

My go to cream and black lace dress I got from Honeymoon like 5 years ago… it has saved me so many times

Cousin’s wedding last September. It ended up being the hottest day of the year in the area. It was held at a winery/barn. Mostly outdoor.

This is my go-to wedding guest dress that I wear with a gold belt, matching blue wedges (in case it’s outdoors) and usually a cardigan. Wore it to the last 4 weddings I went to
And this is my go-to black tie dress, haven’t been to one in awhile though
