Don’t feel bad.  We have the same wedding date, and my invites just went out Friday.  Most people got them over the wk-end.  If you sent Save-The-Date Cards or have a wedding website with your hotel info on there, I wouldn’t worry about it. Either way, don’t beat yourself up about it.  It’ll work out… *hugs*

People should RSVP by May 7th at the latest. So a week earlier won’t be that big of a deal IMO. How are you going to remind them about the deadline for the hotel block? Will you put it on the invitations? I don’t think you want to call each person after you receive an RSVP to let them know… that can get pretty ridiculous.

Also, sending out invitations is usually 6-8 weeks prior to wedding date. So send out your invitations no later than April 9th and it should be fine. But if you’re a week later than that it’s ok too. Hope looking at some of these dates helps you! ๐Ÿ™‚

You’ll be fine!  Also check with your hotel – ask if they’ll extend your cut off date a few days and if they auto-release the rooms or if someone has to physically do it.  And if they’ll continue to book at your discounted rates as long as rooms are available even after they’re released.

(Can you tell I write room block contracts for a living?!)

Good luck!!!

Bummer!  You should still be fine.  If you have a wedding website I’d just emphasize it there.  People are grown ups – don’t worry about it too much.  If they wait too long to book, they’ll figure it out!
