Salty, for me. By the end of the night, chances are that I’ll have already had a piece of cake plus a couple of sweet-ish drinks from the bar (assuming there’s an open bar), so I’d be in the mood for something salty. And that’s coming from someone with a major sweet tooth. 😉

Definitely salty, but I’m not much of a sweets person anyways.

Salty, but then again I’m not really a sweet fan.

I said sweet because salty may be too heavy at the night of the night (and make me feel gross.)

Will there be drinking? If so, the saltier and greasier the better!

@Gemstone:  This! I always drink sweet drinks, so by midnight I am dying for something salty!

OP, we’re doing salty foods, but we are also going to have fresh fruit platters-maybe an option? They’re not super pricey, but will give people something sweet to munch on besides cake….

@sara_tiara:  I’m the exact same way. The only drinks I enjoy drinking are sweet, so I need to break it up with something salty/more satisfying. 🙂

Even though I previously said a combination, french fries sound amazing.
