Because you haven’t had a period I would say it is still possible and perhaps even likely that you are pregnant, but not far along to be producing enough bcg hormone for a positive urine test.  You could schedule a doctors appointment and they would probably do a blood test.  Conditions such as an ectopic pregnancy, iirc, can cause a false negative.

It’s fairly rare, but for some ladies their urine pregnancy tests never turn positive when they are pregnant. My friend has had two kids and never gotten a positive pee test. Maybe you can be more insistent on a blood test? Especially because if yOi aren’t preggo then you can explore other reasons you are feeling off.

Wow, it would be extremely unusual for you not to test positive at 18 days late. However, if you have a GP, I’d make an appointment and have them do a blood test. Most GPs will do a pregnancy test for you (blood if you tell them you are 18 days late and a urine test doesn’t test positive), even if they won’t see you for an appointment.

andreagrace:  try to have a doctor check it out. I’ve heard a few stories of women I know that never had a test read possitive but they were definitely pregnant. Blood tests are more accurate. It certainly happens. Worth a shot.

andreagrace:  maybe a silly question, but are you definitely taking the tests right? Are they decent tests, not expired, etc?

I would think you’re not pregnant if your tests are negative and you’re having that many symptoms

The home tests are very accurate.  My OB didn’t even do a blood test because they trust if you got a + then you are pregnant. If you’ve tested with a few different brands I would guess you are not pregnant.  Although,  since your period hasnt shown up you still have a chance. Since it is so late you could call your OB, they might have you wait longer but could at least give you directions.  It’s always possible travel or stress could delay ovulation

At home pregnancy tests are very reliable so being that late and having so many negatives probably means something else is responsible for your symptoms. I would book an apt to see your doctor though. He/she should be able to get to the bottom of things for you.

It’s likely that you’re not pregnant and your body is trying to adjust. I got off birth control last January and had a normal period until August. After that, there was no period for 108 days. I felt all the symptoms including nausea and thought I could be pregnant since DH and I were NTNP. All my test kept saying negative so I scheduled a doctors appointment. On the day of the appointment, I got my period. I honestly think birth control can affect u for a while.
