- Wedding: April 2011
Ok so I am having a destination wedding (jamaica) on april 23rd. I sent out the vast majority or save the dates in late october/early november. We have a limit of 100 people for the wedding and for a while it looked like we were going to have right around our maximum people so we were very careful to not over invite with the save the dates. Just now we found out a large group of people who were going to come are not going to come. We can now invite everyone we wanted to – yay!
My question is what to do for those people who have not yet received a save the date. I can send them save the dates now and then invites (probably will send out invites early february and ask for rsvp around early march) or I can send them early invites (maybe janurary) or just send them invites in feb with everyone else.
The main issue is that the save the date has our wedding website on it with all the travel/hotel info. I don’t know some of these people that well (friends of our parents) so I can’t just email it to them (as I can some of my friends). If it is too late to send a save the date then I can attempt to have our parents communicate the information as needed although I don’t know how well my fiance’s parents will do with that…..
