Hiya bees! Our Admin and Tech teams have been hard at work developing our new Honeymoon tab to bring inspiration and helpful info for those of you planning honeymoons and destination weddings.
Our latest addition is the Aruba Micro Site, which will help users find out more about how to plan a honeymoon or destination wedding on Aruba. If you’re considering a wedding or honeymoon in the Caribbean, you’ll definitely want to check it out! Just click on over to the Honeymoon tab (far right at the top of the site) and see what it has to offer.
Coming soon: Weddingbee will bring you the best wedding and travel deals directly from Booking.com, available in our Honeymoon tab. Stay tuned!

Why not just make it an ABC Island (Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao) micro site?

They probably are doing this in partnership with someone paying them to promote just Aruba…

When will the SPAM pop-ups on mobile be fixed? I’ve completely given up on Wedding Bee without a wifi internet connection… going to wedding wire instead.

zl27: because the tourism industries of Bonaire and Curaçao aren’t paying for annoying ads on Weddingbee

HBIC: Please report issues through our Support section! We will see them sooner. Also, if you can provide me with a URL or screenshot of the redirect ads, our tech team can look into blocking them. Thanks!

you should do a microsite on where to go that doesn’t have Zika…isnt aruba on the CDC list of places with cases?

Sorry – why just Aruba? Seems arbitrary.
tinker44: My Darling Husband and I have researched extensively on where to vacation for our one-year. After a trip to my doctor we have ruled out all Caribbean islands, Mexico, South America, Central America, Hawaii, and many of the warmer European countries that are on the water. Zika is going to spread far and wide this summer. All of the Caribbean islands that we were considering at the beginning which were at the time Zika-free have now been added to the list. It’s only a matter of time before they are all there.
Look into Iceland, the UK, France, Ireland, basically anywhere that is more north. Montreal, Banff/Canmore/Jasper (Rocky Mountains), Osoyoos (Okanagan Valley), and Victoria are all beautiful places in Canada to visit. We are going to my in-law’s house in Phoenix now I think, for a group trip with our closest friends in September.
Zika has really put a cramp in my vacation style.

courtneysokal: Weddingbee is paid to advertise Aruba- that’s why. There should be more transparency about that in this thread.

thecheeseeater: Definitely there should! It’s a law here in Canada about that transparancy… You absolutely must disclose.
