I fell in love with this dress some months ago and was fortunate enough to travel to NYC and see it in person and fall even more in love when I tried it on! However I was at the very start of a big weight loss journey and was advised not to order a size until I was quite certain it would be my wedding day weight… so I came home without it.

However I’m from Australia and if I decide this is “my” dress, I’ll have to order it without seeing it again, which terrifies me.
I was just wondering if anyone here has chosen this dress for themselves or tried it on? If you’ve seen it/tried it on… what did you think? Do you have any pics?
It’s such a hard decision!
Thanks in advance 🙂

Yes! I bought this dress at Kleinfelds and it’s coming in September. I absolutely love it and whenever I show it to people they gasp.

Well after being in love with this dress for about 2 years and with my wedding approaching in September of this year, I decided it was time to bite the bullet and order! I just haven’t seen anything that I love quite as much as this one and I couldn’t help but feel that if I didn’t choose this one, I’d always wonder if I should have.
The stressful part is ordering from the USA when I’m in Australia. I did try it on whilst vacationing in NYC, but my measurements and shape have (thankfully) shrunk drastically since then.
Unfortunately I’m falling smack bang between a 12 and 14. So they have given me the choice.
Normally I would just say size up to be on the safe side, but I’m SO worried that taking the dress in too much will damage the amazing detailing on it or not be done well. Then again, if it is too snug when it arrives, do I really want the added pressure of absolutely needing to lose some weight for it to fit properly?
Those of you who have purchased this dress, do you think it will be ok to order the 14 and have it taken in here and there if it needs it? Or should I go with the 12 and just hit the gym a bit harder?
Thanks!

The size chart is I just ordered a 12 and the waist measurement is 27.5….they run a little small.
