Hello all you lovely ladies and gents!
I was just wondering if any of you know if Lazaro does any customization of dresses? I’m so very in love with the top of style 3052, but that type of skirt in that type of fabric makes my luscious hips and thighs look like they belong to an animal much larger than a mere human woman. I think it would look absolutely lovely with a modified a-line instead. What do you all think?

you are right. The top is really gorgeous!!!! At my opinion the mermaid-style is nice. But it´s a to extremly mermaid style. Perhaps a not so deep mermaid skirt would work even better. But I love the sash on the backside :-))

Lazaro does offer some customization. I ordered mine with the bodice shortened by 1.5 inches. I’m also pretty sure I saw a used Lazaro for sale online where the bride combined the top of a dress with the bottom of another. As a pp stated though, doing it through alterations may be cheaper. Lazaro customizations start at $300 for the simplest changes. Your best bet may be finding a trunk show. The designer himself usually attends those, gives suggestions on what’s doable, and you may be able to get all or part of the customization for free.

I bought mine during the trunk show in Plano, TX in March and paid right at $4k. More than I wanted to spend, but soooo worth it. 🙂
