Has anyone ordered a dress from Leanne Marshall? I contacted her and spoke with her business manager. He contacted me right away. All things seemed well but then I asked if they could meet a price about 5 days ago and I haven’t heard back from them. I tried emailing a follow up 3 days ago to say I was willing to pay the original price, I just thought there was no harm in asking and hoped they could get back to me because I still very much want the dress. Still no response. I’m worried that I was a throw-away customer or somehow it insulted them to ask for a different price. I meant no harm and asked very politely so now I just feel bad about it all.
I’m kind of getting down the wire (wedding is 4.5 months away) and need to have my dress in the bag, so to speak. If you have ordered from her bridal colllection, did you find that there were gaps in communication? Do you think that I should move on and that what I did was maybe considered inappropriate? I really love the dress but now I don’t know if it’s going to happen but I’m also wondering if this is the same sort of case that people found with Sarah Seven dresses (communication being not a strongpoint).
If they don’t want to work with me, I wish I could just get a response saying that. I would take that much easier than just not hearing anything at all and worrying if I’ll get an email or not.
I’m not sure if I should email again asking what’s up and if they’re not going to sell me the dress… or if i should just purchase the dress and then deal with it that way… My fiance told me that if it comes down to it, wouldn’t I rather just move on for someone that will definitely want me to buy a dress from them – and I was like ‘i dunno… that dress is so pretty and special…’ I guess maybe I could also be reading too much into it.
(I keep posting this to the wrong place, grr).
