    I would.

i wear leggings to work all the time (though some people dislike them so I wear them less now to avoid silly clothing judgementd affecting progressing up the ladder)

Honestly no! Sorry leggings are for little girls now grown women. I really, really dispise the trend right now that people are wearing leggings for pants.

It depends on your profession. If you’re in entertainment, beauty, or something like that, it could work. I work in an office environment and it would never work.

JLFinch:  They are fine, especially because the top you have on with it is very conservative, so that sort of balances it out.

Leather leaggings with halter top at work? No

Leather leggings with button down and cardigan at work? Yes

winterwoodlandbride15:  These are cute looks and I would wear them on the weekends, but for a professional office environment, I would not.

Hell yes! You’re really lucky to have such a casual environment – work it!

I work in a pretty casual environment – my former (extraordinary!) assistant had dreads and would wear ripped jeans to work. But I would still not wear leggings to work, leather or not. It’s part personal preference (I don’t think sweats are appropriate in public period) and part the kind of image I want to present to media / clients / new recruits if they happen to catch me off-guard (I keep a suit in my office in case of short-notice interviews etc.).
