Good for YOU! Going off on your own is always scary and exciting at the same time. Congratulations on doing what you want to do. I’m in a similar boat…gearing up (and saving) to quit my job in a few months. Here’s hoping we both do well!

Hubby and I basically did this but I kept my 9-5 for 8 mos so we still had steady income while he took on the business full-time.  Now I work a low-paying part-time stay at home job while I transition to putting hours into our business and starting a new branch of our corporation.

Good luck, it’s hard but rewarding in the end.  Don’t listen to the haters because they are going to hate until they see your success.  Then they’re going to act like they had your back the whole time.Laughing

@jb20:  Kudos to you. It’s my dream to get the hell out of the corporate rat race.  Until then, I’ll just live vicariously through others like you.  Good luck with your new endeavor!
