I’m stuck! We’re 3 days away from the big day, and we’re not sure how we’re leaving the reception! Fiance wants to stay to the very end, which I’m okay with. However, how are we going to get transported from our venue to the Bed and Breakfast we have a room at?
Neither of us will be able to drive a “getaway” car, especially if we have drinks! Is it too late to rent a car and driver?
How are you ladies leaving your reception? Help!

I have the EXACT same dilemma. I think we are just going to go and play it by ear…if we are tired we will just call a taxi…and if are rocking out we will stay to the end and maybe catch a ride with someone? I dont know 🙂

Can you ask a guest (one that isn’t really a drinker) for a ride? Or can you ask the venue to arrange a taxi or car service for you at a particular time?

I second with asking the venue if they have a car service they recommend or even if they have a shuttle that can get you back to your B&B.

The biggest problem is that the venue is in the middle of nowhere… the nearest city is 20 minutes away. And our B&B is 20 minutes away in the other direction!
Fiance keeps saying we can catch a ride with his parents and brother. Um, can you say one of the most unromantic things in the world? Haha.

This close to the event, I would call a car service to drive you. It won’t be cheap (my guess is at least $50, maybe more like $100).

This was a hard decision for us as well. We have decided to book a limo for an hour at the end of the night to take us to our hotel in downtown Cleveland (30 minute drive)
His Mom wanted us staying at the hotel where most of the wedding guests are staying so we could show up to breakfast the next morning. No thank you! That seems very unromantic. The morning after I want a quite breakfast with my hubby 🙂
Have you rented a limo for earlier in the day? If so call your limo company and see if you can hire a twon car for 1-2 hours. If that doesn’t work I would just start calling limo companies and car services in the area
