DH and I were very unahppy about the way our venue treated us, especially how we were told the day before set up that they had planned on continuing with bingo in the same room our wedding was in the day before. (we were originally told we had 2-3 days of the empy space to set up the way we wanted it) This caused much stress and drama and led to us setting up finishing touches within an hour of the ceremony itself. Due to the lack of communication on their part, going back on their agreement, it was a horrible experience and a day that was utterly stressful.
I want to leave a review on wedding wire but don’t know if I should. Other than our experience our venue had nothing but good reviews.

Yes! I think it allows people to be sceptical and really think before booking someone. Just tell the facts and not opinions and don’t be overly emotional in the review.

I would. You’re unhappy. It’s not like it’d be a terrible review that just says “OH EM GEE THIS PLACE SUCKS!”. It’s very legitimate.

I feel so bad leaving the review but decided to do it anyway. I really want other brides to know the facts, I’m just not keen on getting a ‘sorry for your experience’ response from the center. I’m over it. 😛

I think you should leave the review. You have valid problems and compliants. I think other brides will appreciate knowing that this place drops the ball sometimes.

As long as you’re being truthful, definitely.

Definitely – as long as you’re being thorough and fair, I think it is valuable to others to post your review. The venue might see it as well and a) offer up an apology/some kind of compensation and/or b) at least make changes so that others don’t experience what you did.
