I’m watching it right now too. I love how great the friends are in these situations.

I turned to TLC and JUST found out about the show – I’m not kidding when I say the first 3 seconds were of a woman crying D:> I had to turn away out of becoming depressed!

I watched that show, too! It made me cry, too. The first woman had so much class. I don’t know if I would have stayed had I been a guest. Too sad and awkward.

That’s horrible! I always wondered when reality TV would go one step too far. I think that day has come.

I had mixed emotions about the show (I’ve only seen one episode):

amused- the show is done “rescue 911” style with overly dramatic reenactments that kind of crack me up

annoyed- that tlc is profiting off of people’s misfortune

happy- i do like that the point of the show seems to be empowering. like hey… this happens and it is not the end of the world. i especially liked the 2nd girl on the episode i saw (who was supposed to get married in hawaii). She said something about how after her fi left she felt sad about that but at the same time felt SO much love from her friends. i think that was a really great way to frame a bad situation. and maybe it’ll help other people who get left at the alter?

I’m afraid to watch it. There are way too many things to worry about when it comes to a wedding!!!

Just had to share this, though: My mom made my dad pick her up for their wedding so she would know that he was physically at the church. I might do that just to sneak in some Fiance time :).

@jo.lee: lol cute. my mom said that at her wedding the first thing her Mother-In-Law said when she got to the church was “don’t worry he’s already here” and she was like wow… it never occurred to her he might not show up– good thing! lol

The dramatic reenactments are silly to me.  Fiance and I watched it over the weekend and we kind of just shook our heads over it.

Whether this show is real or fabricated, I don’t think I could bring myself to watch it. :/.

It really does sound VERY depressing… 🙁

I haven’t seen the show, but I just can’t figure out why anyone would want to be featured on it. Is this something you actually audition for?!
