I lend money to my friends & family, but, it depends on who it is if they give it back. I have somebody who normally always does and has been MIA now. XP

I always pay other people back and feel horribly if I can’t right away. Like my friend bought me lunch and I found out my father only got $400 that week so I couldn’t borrow even $20 off of him. It took me a couple weeks to give her $8. That was just last month.

Yes… but like, $5 or maybe $20. I dont think I would ever lend more than that, without really good reason, or at least without being ok if we never got it back (rather than ruining that relationship.)

Hubby and I were talking about this last night. I was ready to lend money to his mother, but in the end she didn’t need me and thanked me for being willing to do so. There are very few people I would lend money to. $20? Sure. More than that… I’d have to be VERY close to you and reaaaaaaally trust you.

I think I’ve lent friends like $20 maybe before in a situation where I wanted it back but I wouldn’t have been upset if I didn’t get it back. I wouldn’t LEND more than that.
