Yes!!  I heard the first three notes(in a preview before another movie) and I said “Oh no!”  and started crying.  My DH just shook his head and sighed.  He knows I’m loony.  So excited!!  I’m reading the book right now, going to Paris for our honeymoon in November(the view from our room looks straight out of Les Mis!) and seeing the stage show(Broadway in Chicago) when I get back AND THAN off to the movie.  I am very excited.  A little puzzled at Amanda what’s her face as Colette but oh well!

Who is it that you don’t like?

I’m excited for it!  Saw the travelling production here in Atlanta earlier this year and it was so good!

I saw the preview when we went to see Pitch Perfect.  I have the soundtrack, but have never seen Les Mis, so I’m excited for the movie, but I’m not sure about Anne Hathaway.  Sounded like she got lots of help from the sound people to make her voice sound better than it is.

Just watching the 25th anniversary cast now too!  I love Lea Salonga and am sad she is not reprising her role.  By far the best Fantine out there.  But I too am glad that Samantha is getting to play Eponine.  She makes me cry!

Hugh Jackman I think will do a great job as for Russell Crowe..

I’m really looking forward to it. Hugh Jackman is an amazing singer. Have you seen him and Neil Patrick Harris at the Tony Awards?

I don’t think it’s that bad, actually. No, she’s not a technically amazing singer but at least it’s not out of tune.

Is it dreadful that I’m looking forward to the Thenardiers as much as anything else. The thought of HBC and SBC in those roles is really appealing.

I don’t mind the casting choices and I’m a MASSIVE Les Mis fan.

Seen it eight times.  I hated hated the first movie, but I think this will one will do it justice.

i’m just so relieved they didn’t go for Taylor Swift as originally planned.  I would have boycotted.
