I really like Leslie and do her walks on “off days” or days I am feeling lazy and the weather is bad. But I just tried a new video of hers that was actually very good and challenging. It is called Walk Slim 5 really big miles.
here is how it is broken up:
1. warm up and intro: 5 minutes
2. walk mile 1
3. walk and strength training mile 2
4. walk mile 3
5. walk and strength training mile 4
6. walk mile 5
7. Cool Down: 5 minutes
8. Stretch: 5 minutes
Each mile is between 14-20 minutes. The strength training miles take longer.
I did the entire video from begining to end and it was 1 hour and 28 minutes. Which, seems really long.
For me, I probably would not normally bother with the warm up, stretch and cool down because mile warm 1 is more like a warm up and mile 5 cools down at the end and I like to do my own stretches.
So, if you just did the 5 miles sections it would probably take a little over an hour. It was a pretty good video and I highly recommend it. Oh, and it comes with a strength training band which is nice.
It has better music than her usual DVDs do and there are better moves.
I bought it on amazon for like $9…totally worth it.
