I didn’t know what to say, so I just kissed him for about 5 minutes straight. I thought that would be better then standing there with my mouth open.

LOL =)  You got me =)

We were in the theater (live show, not cinema) and I knew he was about to do it.  He gets down on one knee, opens the box, and before he says anything

“YES! Okay, yes, just get up, EVERYONE IS STARING”

Then he laughs and talks really slow about how he loves me, and all I keep saying is “everyone is starrrrrrinnnnnggg!!!”

(Not a big fan of attention LOL)

I had a friend who had the same reaction, except for instead of saying “freaking” she used the real f- word and pushed him so hard he fell backward.

She’s also the same person who when she took a pregnancy test, walked out of the bathroom, threw the test at him and said “you must have Super Sperm!”

She CRACKS me up!!!

haha i threw myself in his arms before he could even get up, i said yes… obviously, but i laughed and cried and hugged him for 5 minutes before i could even get myself to look at the ring.

had i looked at the ring first i probably would have said the same “freaking” thing haha

I saw the ring and didn’t even let him say a word. Apparently, I started crying, hugging him and wouldn’t let go. He had to tell me to let go so he could finish his proposal.

It is all a HUGE blur to me, but that is what he said that I did.

I thought I said “yes” right away, but according to Fiance I just kept saying “Oh my God, are you serious? Oh my God!” over and over. He said his knee was starting to hurt from kneeling on cobblestone by the time I finally said yes!

My husband got sooooooooooooooooooo nervous, he actually just handed me the ring box and was silent. So I opened the box – still nothing from him. So I held it up and said “what is this?” LOL

Him: (Still silent, hasn’t said a word)
Me: What is this??!??!?!?!?!!!!
Him: Um, do you want to get married?
Me: Seriously???!!!! πŸ™‚ Seriously?!?!?!?!?!!! Of course!

Yah, that was pretty much how we got engaged. πŸ˜‰

I “forgot” to say yes and he started to put my ring on my right hand. It was quite comical. πŸ™‚ He still mentions how I didn’t say “Yes” for a good 20 seconds and I mention how he doesn’t know his right from his left. It was a perfect proposal. Wouldn’t have it any other way. πŸ™‚

I saw the ring, and I believe my response was: “That’s it?!”

Hahahahahaha πŸ˜‰

To put my response into context: we had previously agreed on a princess-cut solitaire, but then the ring in the box was a round with 2 side pears – I was just so completely shocked by the style of the ring that I thought he was playing a trick on me.  But nope, it really was the ring – and I love it! πŸ™‚

I get a lot of slack for this from my FI!  When he proposed, I started laughing and I couldn’t stop.  I think most girls cry…but I didn’t.  I laughed my butt off because I was so beyond thrilled.  That, and the fact that it was so unexpected set me into a whirlwind of happiness.

He still tells me to this day that my laughter scared the crap out of him…he thought he did it wrong!  πŸ˜›
