Whelp, despite my best efforts, I have become obsessed with dropping a few pounds before my June 1 wedding. I work out regularly and eat really well during the week, though I probably overindulge on weekends. I had been really focused on maintaining rather than putting a ton of pressure on myself to get seriously thin.. until this weekend, when I took a serious look at some pictures from my shower and realized I really need to lose a few before the big day. Also, just got our super late engagement pics.. woof. Some of those low angles are NOT my friend.
I know crash dieting is never the best way to lose weight, but does anyone have suggestions for looking my best in the limited time I have left? I am going to do what I can to make it to the gym at least five days a week between now and June 1, but I know that alone isn’t gonna do it. I am also planning to stop drinking any alcohol until the big day. I have heard that can have a huge effect on face bloat, and I am especially worried about the dreaded double chin. Also, any tips for just getting over it, as that is probably my most realistic option at this point?

Lemon water! Hot water with steeped lemon slices in the morning and chilled lemon water throughout the day. eat lot of high fiber vegi’s – think carrots and stuff – lean protiens like fresh fish and chicken, all baked if course. Make your food healthy and interesting with flavorful spices like cilantro, etc.
avoid processed foods and sugary drinks – and stick to the meal and snack rule that if you didn’t make it you can’t eat it.

In 3 weeks you aren’t really going to lose much weight, but you can try to prevent bloating. It’s your wedding day, you’re going to look happy and beautiful! I wouldn’t worry about it too much at this point!

I agree with lemon water but don’t overdo it on lemon water. I overdid it and got a horrible body rash and face breakout. It was after about 2 solid weeks on strong lemon water. My body was NOT happy.
Cut out carbs. I lost 14lbs in 2.5 weeks (and I’m only 5’6 and 150 to begin with) basically eating lean turkey bacon and chicken breast.
