I think it looks nice (except for the pit stains on page 30…haha). Personally, I think having one big photo with 4 around it is a whole lotta picture for one page (like pages 7 & 36), and I got a little confused when you took a break from the wedding and all of a sudden there was a waterfall and everyone in bathing suits? But then you went back to formal shots? But regardless, you know what pictures are important to your mom, and I think you gave her those.

Looks Great!

My super knit picky comments:

– Get rid of the black stripe on page 19

– pages 21-22, use the same background for the whole spread, my vote is the light texture (no black).

– 23,24,27 I don’t like the black stripe

– 31-32, 39,40, 60 same comment as 21,22

– 44, use a black background, looks odd with the picture cutting through half the guy

– Consider a large picture for the last spread, make it a stronger ending

It looks really good, the only things I would change is have them in order, like maybe have the ones before the wedding at the front, and then get into the wedding pictures.  And I agree with page 44, it looks odd with the picture cutting of half the guy. Other then that it looks really good!!

@dynamic_duo: It looks great! I think your Mom will love it.

The only comment I have is on pg44 I’d make the background on pg44 all black instead of having the photo span pg 43-44. The person’s head floating above the one photo is kind of odd. Love the photo on pg 43 though!

Thanks again for posting about the 30% off photo books! I ordered my wedding album yesterday, Yay! 🙂

I agree with USER that the black stripes don’t always work, they make it really busy and draw the eye away from the pictures.

I also agree with WHIT that pages like #7 (and #36) that have 1 big picture with 4 little ones on top are very busy. I’d rather look at a page full of small pictures than 1 large pic covered with a bunch of little ones, it’s distracting and throws off the balance of the pictures.

I love pg. 9-10 and 17-18 — beautiful!

Some of your pages are just a bit busy for me. I think I’d rather have a few less pictures and let the pictures I do include really shine. Like I LOVE the top picture on page 74, but it gets almost lost in mix with so many pictures. I’d take 3 or 4 of your pages and strip them down to only 1 or 2 pictures for the whole spread, and give a little more white space, room to breath you know?

Awesome job though! I never knew you could post links to Adoramapix albums like this! I’m going to see if my album is still active and get some opinions!

@dynamic_duo: I know! We were on a major budget for our album so I had to keep it down to 26 pages! It was brutal, but I have prints and jpgs of everything so I know I can always go back. Making the decisions is crazy hard though, but I just told myself, ‘okay, what do I want to get across–the feel of the wedding!–including more pictures might make it more complete but it won’t necessarily make it better or more enjoyable to share/remember.

On second thought I might not make a thread about mine, it has our names in it so I’m not sure I want to connect that to myself in my own thread. Here’s the link though if you want to check ours out.

I was really proud of the deals we got. I’ve already ordered 5 books from adoramapix–1 for us, 1 for my mom, 1 for DH’s mom, one for my grandma, and one for DH’s sister.  $40 for the 10×10 26 page book when I ordered it with 2 different coupon codes. It’s so great that they offer good deals I would have never been able to afford such a good quality book without that! I’ve ordered books on similar sites in the past and these truly are fantastic quality. Everybody comments on it
