STYLE 854

These are my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses. They are Mori Lee in Tiffany Blue chiffon. Nice and airy for the summer.

such variety!!  I love it.

My bridesmaid dress situation is a little different.  This one (by Nathan Taylor but the Ocean colour found here: http://2bebride.com/item/?i=B234125&collection=2be%20-%20Social%20-%20Nathan%20Taylor

is for my bridesmaid.  We ordered this one first with the matching bolero jacket.

However, since my Maid/Matron of Honor is in the military, by the time we found out if she had leave or not, it was too late to order any dress from the Nathan Taylor line to match it.  And the blue colour was so unique I couldn’t find any dress in any line that would come close.  So we went completely different for her:

They are the same fabric so I’m hoping they will look ok together.  I figure with just 2 girls standing up with me the 2 colours shouldn’t look too weird.  I have found matching ties for the Best Man and Groomsman so it flows a little.

I let each girl choose whatever dress you want and since it was a destination wedding I’m covering the cost for each.  The first one was $250 and the second was $125.  lol.

I’m looking at possibly adding a bit of bling to the pool one to make it match the first one and my dress (which has a brooch) a little more.

This is what my girls ended up wearing. They chose them. The taller girls choose the style with pockets and the “shorter” girls chose a different style…I loved them becasue they loved them!! 🙂 They were from Bryans (NOT Bryans Bride).

I’m just as excited about the bridesmaid dresses as I am about my dress. It’s Mori Lee 838. It’s in amethyst.

@emilygrace07: My friend chose this color for me to wear in her wedding in 2009 (all 3 BMs wore different colors). I must say that it’s hard to find a place to wear it again (I haven’t had much need for a bright orange dress since), but I just moved to Tennessee where the UT color is orange, so who knows, maybe I can go to a football game. 🙂 Plus, I sang at the ceremony, and it was really easy for the guests to find the singer in the neon dress at the reception.

Here are mine! They have a corset back which is very nice, everyone of my bridesmaids agreed that this is the one. The color will be chartreuse green.

Here are mine in the color shown.  The A-line of the skirt is friendlier to some of the hippier girls. 🙂  My Matrons of Honor wanted pockets too.  And they got them!

I already posted on this thread BUT there have been some changes…

We went to try on the After Six dress and it just did not flatter any of my girls. They are all slender ladies, yet it looked awful.

Thankfully, we found this dress, and it is gorgeous. I had to give up the different color idea which I was upset about, but the girls love the dress so much and that is all I wanted.

Here it is!

My BMs got to pick and I think they did a great job!  No real pics yet but this is what they chose – short in sage satin and a sage sash (two tone made them look very bridesmaidy!)
